La estructura, que data de principios a mediados del segundo milenio antes de Cristo, es circular, tiene aproximadamente 48 metros de di\u00e1metro y cuenta con ocho anillos conc\u00e9ntricos de piedra que conducen a un edificio circular central. Se cree que se utilizaba con fines comunitarios o ceremoniales, posiblemente relacionados con rituales y banquetes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta estructura es la primera de este tipo que se descubre en Creta y proporciona valiosa informaci\u00f3n sobre la arquitectura minoica, la vida comunitaria y las pr\u00e1cticas ceremoniales.
